Career history<\/h3>\n

I obtained a PhD in Astronomy from the University of British Columbia in Canada. After that, I worked as a researcher for five years in France and one and a half years at the University of Tokyo, where I was involved in numerous astronomy projects. Currently, I work as a URA in the External Funding Department, primarily supporting foreign researchers.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities as a URA at Hokkaido University<\/h3>\n

In the External Funding Department, I am responsible for securing research funds and managing projects. In particular, I am involved in planning and promoting international research projects. Additionally, I focus on developing strategies for securing funds to support cutting-edge research and strengthening collaboration with foreign researchers.<\/p>\n

How I became a URA at Hokkaido University<\/h4>\n

I decided to become a URA because I wanted to leverage my international research experience to create an environment where researchers can concentrate on their work without financial difficulties.<\/p>\n

I find great fulfillment in supporting the success of researchers with diverse backgrounds. I also appreciate that successfully securing funds directly contributes to the advancement of research.<\/p>\n

I can support the growth and development of research institutions by leveraging my international research experience and expertise. I am dedicated to collaborating with foreign researchers and ensuring they can smoothly advance their research projects.<\/p>\n

In my free time, I enjoy visiting libraries, museums, and science centers, as well as working on a farm.
