Career history<\/h3>\n

After graduating from Sapporo Minami High School, Ms. Takano pursued her studies at the School of Fisheries Sciences, Hokkaido University. Upon completing her master\u2019s degree at Hokkaido University\u2019s Graduate School of Fisheries Sciences, she joined a company specializing in university operations support, where she was primarily involved in research support work (pre-award and post-award).<\/p>\n

Responsibilities as a URA at Hokkaido University<\/h3>\n

Ms. Takano is assigned to the University Collaboration Division. She will also serve as a URA at the Faculty of Fisheries Sciences while contributing to initiatives related to university alliances and other projects.<\/p>\n

How I became a URA at Hokkaido University<\/h4>\n

When I was considering moving back to Hokkaido, my university professor informed me about a job opening. I was drawn to the position because I felt it would allow me to utilize my previous work experience while providing me with new opportunities for growth.<\/p>\n

The aspects of being a URA at Hokkaido University that I have enjoyed<\/h4>\n

From my first day on the job, I have enjoyed walking through the lush, green campus on my way to work. I am excited about the various opportunities to gain experience that lie ahead.<\/p>\n

I previously worked in research support for various universities as a staff member of a private company. As a URA at Hokkaido University, I would like to continue learning and contribute to the university\u2019s development by applying my experience in various ways.<\/p>\n

My love for Hokkaido University<\/h4>\n
