The Integrated URA Office, in collaboration with the Institute for the Advancement of Sustainability, holds the \u201cHokkaido University Senryu Contest 2025\u201d to promote communication across the university community.<\/p>\n

Hokudai ranked No. 1 in Japan in THE Impact Rankings for Six Consecutive Years<\/a> !
\nIn celebration of this achievement, the theme this time is IMPACT!
\nFrom the everyday moments that make Hokudai special to the proud achievements that leave a lasting impact. We invite you to share your unique Senryu!<\/p>\n

What is Senryu?<\/strong>
\nSenryu is a form of Japanese short poetry that consists of three lines with a 5-7-5 syllable pattern.
\nSenryu often explores human nature, emotions, and everyday life with a humorous or satirical tone.
\nIf your preferred language is other than Japanese:<\/strong>
\nWe welcome your entries in the form of very short poetry of three lines in any of your preferred language.<\/p>\n
