Personal statement

How I became a URA at Hokkaido University

My husband has been following Dr.Sato URA’s Facebook page and recommended this job opening to me. At that time, I had no idea what kind of work URAs do. Through my research, I became interested in the URA and its activities, motivating me to become part of it.

The aspects of being a URA at Hokkaido University that I have enjoyed

The university’s naturally abundant, historical campus is very beautiful and relaxing. As a URA, I have the opportunity to visit different departments and sections on campus, which is one of the things I enjoy about my job.

Self-promotion (free description)

I hope to make the most of my experience to help accelerate operations at the Integrated URA Office. Please feel free to contact me with any ICT-related issues.

My hobbies, things I am crazy about, sources of fulfillment in life, etc.

I would love to travel around Hokkaido, as there are many places I haven’t been able to visit since moving here during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am especially excited to finally experience the Sapporo Snow Festival, a dream of mine since I was a student, and to enjoy Hokkaido’s four seasons.
