Self-promotion (free description)

For better or worse, university rankings indicate how well a university performs in comparison with other universities. While we are elated when our ranking goes up and disheartened when it goes down, I believe it is important for us to keep forging ahead positively. I think there are still many relatively unknown aspects of Hokkaido University, including in research, education, and social cooperation, so I will use university rankings as an opportunity to further promote the appeal of the university from various aspects.

My hobbies, things I am crazy about, sources of fulfillment in life, etc.

I used to be an indoor person, but today I love outdoor activities like camping, cycling, and horseback riding thanks to those nice outdoor enthusiasts around me. I feel blessed when I drink wine over a campfire.
