Career history

Ms.Ueshima completed the doctoral course at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Hokkaido University, Japan without degree (Major: Bioengineering and Bioinformatics). After graduation, she participated in research projects in the field of life science at research institutes and universities in Hokkaido as a data scientist. Besides, she experienced post-award and pre-award work, including project management.

Responsibilities as a URA at Hokkaido University

She is responsible for providing support for the acquisition of large-scale research funds as a member of the Commissioned Research Team in the External Funding Group. In addition, she conducts research IR analysis and applications (mock hearings, and the preparation of grant proposal documentation).
