Research Manager
I obtained a Ph.D. in Education from the Graduate School of Education at Hokkaido University. I served as an academic researcher, specially appointed assistant professor, and specially appointed lecturer at the Center for Environmental and Health Sciences. My areas of expertise are physiological and cognitive psychology, as well as environmental epidemiology. I have conducted research on the mechanisms underlying the onset of developmental disorders, using electroencephalography (EEG) as an index.
I belong to the External Funding Group. I believe that securing external funding is an important task, as it greatly influences the scope of what researchers are able to achieve.
I had been interested in the role of a URA for some time. When my term as a specially appointed faculty member ended, I applied at a time when I was considering what to pursue next.
I find it fascinating to learn about the diverse forms and ideas of research, and to gradually unravel some of the long-standing mysteries of the university.
I will do my best to contribute, even in a small way, to Hokkaido University, which has supported me from my student days to the present.
Traveling is one of my hobbies. I especially enjoy buying unfamiliar vegetables at travel destinations and cooking with them.
